The Best Place for a Romantic Vacation
Last year my husband and I took a vacation in Prague.Prague is known to be the land of castles.Indeed it was. We stayed in a little bed and breakfast inn called the Golden Well. It was part of the historic Prague Castle and had been renovated to accomadate tourists. It was both elegant and yet quaint.
Laterns were lit at night to illuminate your way up the cobblestone hill to the Inn. The flowering bushes around the entrance to the Inn invited the guest to come inside with their sweet scent of lavender.
Our room looked out over the terra cotta rooftops of Prague. The cathedrals were a beautiful backdrop for a once in a lifetime photo of my husband and myself.
The staff at the Inn treated us like royality with candle lit dinners in the rooftop resturant with the Castle as the backdrop.
Each night when we returned to our room we found the bed turned down, chocolates on the pillows and an aray of tiny deserts on the night stands. The deep tub was perfect for a long luxorious bath by candlelight.
The staff added hundreds of fresh rose petals to the warm water to make the bath so extra special. Our week seemed like a fairy tale and it was easy to imagine another time when kings and queens lived in the castle.
It was hard to leave at the end of the week. We plan on returning for a special occassion vacation.
